How to make a multilanguage site in Drupal 7

In order to make a site multilingual please follow this procedure

1. Install these modules

• Internationalization
• Variable
• Localization update

2. Enable these modules at the module administration panel

• Content translation
• Locale
• Localization update
• All checkboxes at the "Multilingual - Internationalization" sector
• All checkboxes at the "Variable" sector

3. Add a new language at the Regional and Language sector within the configuration panel

• Add the languages that you need

4. Within the language inside Detection and Selection configure the URL and User detection option
